Federal Pell Grant in the United States

Federal Pell Grants are need-based undergraduate financial aid awards from the U.S. Department of Education that, unlike loans, generally do not need to be repaid. Eligibility and award amount are determined annually through the FAFSA based on financial need, cost of attendance, and enrollment status.
